    Membership

    Membership is available to the to SDA Providers Who are Ethical and Comply with Key Standards

    Manage Properties Themselves

    SDA Providers can’t be compliant if they outsource their property management to Real Estate Agencies

    Everyone Invited On Occupied SDA is a “Worker”

    SDA Providers have to ensure that every person they invite on site from the gardener, to the person replacing a tap is screened, inducted and trained the same as an employee should be

    Choice & Control – Complete Separation of Housing & Care

    SDA is someone’s home, they should have absolute choice and control over their care and be able to change providers and support workers on a whim.  SDA Providers –

    • Do not provide care and does not have a related entity (20/20/20 rule) that provides care
    • Doesn’t enter into exclusive agreements or partnerships with SIL providers etc
